When it comes to making an impact in our community, we wouldn’t be able to do it without the dedication and devotion of our volunteers. Each week, they repurpose donated flowers from special events, memorial services, grocery stores, and wholesalers to turn what would otherwise be waste into something fresh and meaningful! When you volunteer with us, expect to have fun, meet new people, be creative, and bring smiles to our community!

Volunteering at Random Acts of Flowers Indianapolis helps us spread joy and allows people who share our values to nurture a culture of compassion and care. Whether you have an hour or a whole week, we value every moment you spend with us.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Floral Pick-Up: Grocery stores, funeral homes, and event venues (in your personal vehicle or our transit van)
- Floral Prep: Sorting, composting, and organizing donated flowers
- Floral Arranging:
- Floral Deliveries: Personally delivering bouquets at local hospitals and nursing homes.
- Delivery Driving: Driving the RAF van for floral pick-ups and deliveries.
- Vase Processing: Counting, sorting, and cleaning donated vases.
- Workshop Beautification: Sweeping, opening flower packets, breaking down boxes, taking out compost, and more!
*Please Note: Due to the overwhelming interest in our mission (thank you!), combined with the small workshop space and limited shift opportunities, we are not currently onboarding new volunteers. Once a date is set for the next Information Session, interested individuals will be contacted via email. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
